This is a discussion board for ELA members at LLC to discuss the Redemption Approach, in particular Chapter Two: Restitution.

Many of the concepts presented in Algebra I are progressions of concepts that were introduced in grades 6 through 8. The content presented in this course is intended to extend and deepen the previous understandings.

Algebra begins with setting the stage for work with expressions and equations through understanding quantities and the relationships between them.

Then will build on the concepts for linear and exponential relationships. Success in will lay the groundwork for later units where the students will extend this knowledge to quadratic and exponential functions.

In addition blends the conceptual understandings of expressions and equations with procedural fluency and problem solving. The students will not encounter solutions of quadratic equations that are complex.

It presents standards that involve functions and extending the concepts of integer exponents to concepts of rational exponents. The understandings will be applied to other types of equations in future courses.

I will support your main campus with assignments and projects so you can return to your campus and successfully complete your studies.   Let us work together for this common goal.  I am excited to have you in my class.   Concerns or questions about anything to assistance with please do not hesitate to ask.
